CRS BRIDGWATER has donated a selection of timber and building materials to Hamp Nursery and Infants School.
Volunteers and parents, as well as CRS Bridgwater, worked with the school and students to help make these projects become a reality.
The school has used the materials to build a shelter for their new forest area.
Students at the school and nursery have used the area to build bird feeders, a zen garden, a weather station, and much more.
A statement from the school reads “They [students] have all enjoyed an exciting STEM week linked to recycling, building lots of projects for their outdoor environment, including… a water wall, a solar oven, sun catchers, windmills, raised beds. compost bins, outdoor balance scales, a Spring Garden, and a musical performance area.”
In the statement, Hamp Nursery and Infants School states they would like to think CRS Bridgwater, and all the volunteers and parents who gave up their time.
