POLICE have slammed this motorist for a "horrendous" overtaking of another vehicle on a pedestrian crossing.
Officers in Avon and Somerset Police's road policing unit witnessed the incident during an early morning safety patrol in Cannington today (Thursday, April 14).
The culprit will received a Traffic Offence Report from police.
Other TOR recipients spotted by officers this morning in Cannington are a driver who overtake another vehicle on double yellow lines and a speeding motorcyclist followed by police "for long distance".
The police unit tweeted: "Continuing focus on early morning road safety patrols in Cannington... 3 #TORs last night for #TST3 including this horrendous crossing overtake, #DWL overtake and a motorcycle followed in excess of speed limit by marked car for LONG distance... Observation is key!"
