AN 8-YEAR-OLD has raised more than £500 for Ukraine by creating Ukraine-themed keyrings.
Isabelle Kempton, from Bridgwater, designed the keyrings to raise funds to buy essential items for the Ukrainian refugees last month.
She has raised £575 and, with the help of the Salvation Army, the funds will be used to help Ukraine.
Isabelle’s mum, Amy Davies, said: “She has done amazing. To be honest, I didn’t think it would have worked, she had so many ideas, but in the end, it did really well.”
Amy had previously said: “Isabelle is aware of the current situation in Ukraine and after a little chat about the world, she wanted to do something to help those in need.
“Whilst her brothers spent time after school being typical kids of today, playing their Xbox, she spent hours and hours being so thoughtful.
“She decided to make these keyrings to sell to raise funds to enable her to buy essential items to show her support.”
