CLAYHILL Arts explored the art of Japanese embroidery with a three-day course in Bridgwater.
The event was part of the ‘Japan Week’, the group’s first regular international spotlights on arts and culture taught by textiles expert Rob Jones.
Clayhill Arts said people were “immersed into this meditative and highly-skilled practice, learning Sashiko stitching and Boro mending, as well as Kogin-counted thread embroidery – a practice which Rob is currently the only teacher of in the UK”.
Below is a photo gallery of the event.
