ONE person has been taken to hospital after a crash between a van and a car in Bridgwater.
The incident happened this morning, Thursday, May 12 on Quantock Road around 8am.
The road was closed due to an obstruction and debris on the road, Avon and Somerset Police said.
A person was taken to hospital but the injuries “are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing,” police also added.
The road has now been re-opened.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Quantock Road, Bridgwater at 8am this morning (Thursday 12 May) following reports of a collision between a van and a car.
"Officers closed the road due to an obstruction and debris on the road. The road has now been reopened.
"One driver has been taken to the hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
"If you witnessed the collision or have dash cam footage, please call 101 and quote reference number 5222111956."
