A CHILDREN’S hospice will hold a summer fete to raise “much-needed funds” for the charity.
Charlton Farm (The Children’s Hospice South West) will hold its Summer Fete in Bridgwater at the Canalside on Marsh Lane on June 11.
Gill Brown, part of the Bridgwater Fundraising Committee for the Children’s Hospice South West, said: “We have sadly not been able to fundraise over the last few years due to Covid restrictions.
“However, we have just been able to start putting on events to raise funds and have just held bingo sessions for Christmas 2021 and now at Easter 2022. The Easter Bingo raised £837.40 for the charity.”
The event will take place on June 11 from 11am to 4pm.
The fete will be opened by Rosier Stancer an Arctic Explorer, a committee member is having her hair shaved and there will be hosting stalls, rides, and more to raise money for the charity.
