A MAN from Bridgwater has been given a conditional dicharge after indicating a plea of guilty to possessing a class A drug (cocaine) in Exeter, Devon.
Thomas Joseph Foy, of Hamp Brook Way, appeared at Exeter Magistrates' Court on Thursday, May 19.
Foy, 30, indicated a plea of guilty to having 2.91 grams of cocaine in his possession in Devon's capital on May 3, 2021.
He was discharged conditionally for 12 months.
This means he has been released with the offence registered on his criminal record.
No further action will be taken against him unless he commits another offence within the one-year period decided by the magistrate.
He was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £22 victim surcharge.
He has until June 16 to pay his £107 court bill.
The cocaine has been forfeited under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 to be destroyed.
Foy's guilty plea was considered when he was sentenced.
