A MOTORIST clocked speeding at 110mph on the M5 in Somerset has been banned from driving for 14 days.
Michael McDermott, 54, of Cashford Gate, Cheddon Fitzpaine, committed the offence between Junctions 24 (North Petherton) and 23 (Bridgwater) on August 17 last year.
After pleading guilty at Taunton Deane Magistrates' Court he was also fined £500, with a £50 victim surcharge and £90 costs.
