THE A39 near Cannington has been reopened after an earlier single-vehicle accident.
The accident took place around 4pm today, Wednesday, June 29, between Spaxton turn-off and Cannington West Roundabout.
It has now been cleared and traffic is easing.
The driver got out of the overturned vehicle and is not believed to have suffered serious injuries.
Travel Somerset initially issued the following update while urging motorists to drive carefully.

The #A39 is closed both ways with very slow traffic due to an incident involving one vehicle between Spaxton turn off and Cannington West Roundabout.
Please travel carefully.
A further updated read: "A39 both ways re-opened, traffic easing, accident cleared between Spaxton turn off and Cannington West Roundabout."
An Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called at just after 4pm today to a single-vehicle collision in Cannington.
"The driver got out of the vehicle, which had overturned, and is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries."
