PEOPLE attending a sold-out three-day course in Bridgwater learnt skills for 'Weaving with Colour' over the weekend.
The Clayhill Arts events in Charlynch Lane from Friday to Sunday (July 15-17) was run by award-winning weaver Angie Parker.
She taught those who enrolled on the course how to use back strap and shaft table looms to create a series of woven textiles.
They also learned how to design a warp and dress a tabletop loom as well as setting up a simple back-strap loom.
The course was structured to suit each participant, with some looms set up ready for weaving for those who simply wanted to get stuck in on arrival.
Angie shared the way she approaches colour in her design work and encouraged participants to experiment confidently with colour.
There was an array of yarns in a variety of colours and textures at participants' disposal for the duration including Angie’s signature palettes.
