A CHARITY dance in Bridgwater will raise funds for the Beacon Cancer Musgrove.
The event will take place at the Blake Hall in Bridgwater on Saturday, August 6.
The disc jockey Malcolm Carr will be providing the music free of charge to ensure all ticket sales go to the charity.
The dance was programmed for 2020 and 2021 but was due to take place but was cancelled because of the Covid pandemic.
A total of 250 tickets have been printed but there are still some available.
The dance is to celebrate what was known as the Top Twenty dance held in the town hall from 1960 to 1966, so all the music is from that era along with screens showing the actual bands playing.
Tickets are £5. For more information contact Chris on 075450949095.
The Beacon Centre is based at Musgrove Park Hospital holds outpatient clinics for Haematology and Oncology patients.
There is also the Beacon Day Unit for chemotherapy treatments, the Radiotherapy Unit and inpatient facilities on the Beacon and Haematology wards.
