A YOUNG motorist collected a total of six penalty points for two driving offences committed barely two months apart.
Nathan Robert Lissaman, 21, of Priory, Wellington, was caught jumping a red light at the junction of Chritchard Way and Wordsworth Drive, Taunton, on June 18 last year.
He was fined £40 and handed three points on his driving licence at Taunton Magistrates' Court.
He was fined a further £40 with a £34 victim surcharge and £90 costs for speeding on August 24 last year.
He was also given three more penalty points after he admitted driving at 40mph in a 30mph zone on the B3227 at Hillcommon.
BRIDGWATER motorist Alison Thompson has been banned from driving for six months after pleading guilty to speeding in a 30mph zone in Plymouth on March 11 last year.
Thompson, 58, of Maranta Court, was also fined £240 with a £34 victim surcharge and £90 costs.
