A PICTURE taken by firefighters shows the extent of the damaged caused during a devastating blaze at a popular local pub.
Firefighters from several fire stations battled for a number of hours to bring the fire at the Knowle Inn, Bridgwater, under control.
The fire broke out at the property in Bath Road at around 3am yesterday (Tuesday, August 2).
No one was in the building at the time.
Police closed off a section of the road during the fire.
Burnham-on-Sea Fire Station has posted on Facebook a picture showing the shell of the building left as firefighters damped down.
