There was plenty of fun to be had at the Burtle Harvest Home event over the weekend.
The event, which is usually held every four years, finally made its long-awaited return after being cancelled due to covid in 2020, having last been held in 2016.
The village celebration took place on Saturday, August 6 and featured a scarecrow competition where residents placed their creations outside of their homes at the beginning of the month.
There was also a decorated hoops and baskets competition and a children's fancy dress contest.
The evening featured live entertainment from bands, Six Machine and Rough Around The Edges.
Prior to the event, organisers hoped that the 2022 event would be the biggest and best ever.
There were lots of smiling faces from the people and families who attended and a good time was had by all.
This year's event was filmed by Outline Productions for part of a series for Channel 4 so we may be seeing it on television in the near future.
