AMONG recent cases dealt with at Taunton Magistrates' Courts was that of Lee Mark Thompson.
Thompson, 52, of Taunton Road, Bridgwater, admitted breaching a community order by sending an offensive or obscene or menacing massage.
It was in breach of a community order previously imposed for made a phone message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent or obscene of menacing character.
He was given a further community order.
MARCIAN Malka, 35, of Taunton Road, Bridgwater, pleaded guilty to assault in the town on June 2 this year.
He also admitted two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Bridgwater in June 2 and 3, and failing to surrender to custody while on bail.
He was handed a community order with 200 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £100 compensation to his victim, along with a £95 victim surcharge and £300 costs.
Magistrates also imposed a restraining order on Malka.
