POLICE investigating a burglary in Dorset have turned their attention to Sedgemoor.
Officers from Poole have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify in connection with the burglary in Poole.
They have asked Avon and Somerset Police to publish the image as they believe the man may have a connection with the Sedgemoor area.
Between 1.30am and 4.20am on Monday 15 August 2022 a group of five people entered Avon Self Storage in Dalling Road, Poole, and forced open four containers.
It is believed a quantity of silver items were stolen.
PC Jack Honnywill, of Poole police, said: “An investigation is underway into this incident and I would urge anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please come forward.
“As part of my enquiries, I am issuing a CCTV image of a man I would like to identify and would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.
“I appreciate the image is not of the best quality, but I am hoping someone may recognise him from his build or clothing.
“If you have information about who was responsible, please contact Dorset Police.”
