A NATIONAL dessert chain launched its new Bridgwater town centre parlour with a grand opening party during the bank holiday weekend.
Kaspa's Desserts opened its store at 10 Cornhill on Sunday, August 28. It will be open between 12pm and 10pm on weekdays and weekends.
The company has locations across the UK including Bristol, Exeter, Weston-super-Mare, and Yeovil.
Kaspa's describes itself as “The King of Desserts” and has an extensive menu of cakes, puddings, ice creams, and drinks.
Bridgwater residents will now be able to get their hands on waffles and crepes with dozens of topping choices, sticky toffee pudding, chocolate fudge cake, warm cookie dough, decadent sundaes, milkshakes, and smoothies.
The Kaspa's website says: “Our menu boasts a mouth-watering selection of ice creams, gelatos, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, smoothies, and sundaes. Our parlours will change the way you view desserts.”
After its launch event, a spokesperson for Kaspa's in Bridgwater said: “Thank you everyone, most importantly for your patience. It has made our day easy and we will master this to bring you the best service and quality.”
Three customers have already left postivie reviews of the new parlour on its Facebook page.
One said it offered “excellent service and “lush desserts” and was “very clean”.
Another recommended the parlour based on its “brilliant service and lovely food”.
The 10 Cornhill unit formerly housed The Edinburgh Woollen Mill. It is located between Paddy Power and New Look.
Kaspa's is also set to open a new parlour in Taunton after it gained planning permission last week.
The dessert chain and Döner & Gyros have received approval to divide the former Maplin's store into two seperate units.
Kaspa's will operate on one side of the site, with a Döner & Gyros restaurant and takeaway on the other.
