THE beer flowed and the music played as revellers enjoyed the first Pawlett Beer Festival over the recent bank holiday weekend.
The event was opened by county councillor Suria Aujla and Jo Mason, president of the local Royal British Legion Club, where it took place.
Live music was supplied by local group Bad Monkey and Wiltshire band Burbank.
As well as villagers, beer aficionados attended from Burnham-on-Sea, Bridgwater and North Petherton.
Food was available throughout with ploughman's, a barbeque and a fish and chip van.
A pool tournament was won by local Tilly Palumbo, who beat fellow villager Lee Simmonds in the final.
Club chairman, Mell Turford said: βIt was great to throw an event to attract people out post-Covid and to welcome so many new faces into the club from the local area.β
