TWO people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision near Spaxton.
The accident took place this morning (Friday, September 2) at around 5.42am on the A39 near Spaxton, close to the junction with Mill Farm Hill.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed two people were taken to hospital and also said “their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening”.
A road closure was in place.
A spokesperson said: “We were called by the ambulance service at 5.42am today (Friday 2 September) following a two-vehicle collision on the A39 near Spaxton, close to the junction with Mill Farm Hill.
“Two people have been taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“The scene was cleared and the road re-opened just before 9am.”
