Built and funded by Sedgemoor District Council, Northgate Yard has been conceived with the local community and local economy at its heart.
Councillor Duncan McGinty, leader of Sedgemoor District Council, said: “The opening of Northgate Yard and Brewery Field this month is the fulfilment of a long-held ambition of the local community and Sedgemoor District Council.
“Northgate Yard will now be open to the public from 4pm on Monday, October 24.
“We hope you are excited to see the incredible Northgate Yard and we cannot wait to welcome you in!”
The Council have worked closely with the community to create and deliver a vision reflecting what the people of Bridgwater want to see.
“We have created a town-centre attraction to benefit Bridgwater residents and our local economy and are so proud to see our vision come to fruition," added Cllr McGinty.
“We would like to thank our key tenants Scott Cinemas and All Stars Bowling for being part of this journey, the contractors Wilmott Dixon for creating a stunning development, and local residents for their support."
