CHURCHES, libraries and other public buildings in the Bridgwater area are offering warm and welcoming spaces to help people through the winter.
The cost-of-living crisis is already affecting millions across the UK, with many feeling unable to switch on the heating on in the winter months.
Warm Welcome Spaces has compiled a list of heated places by networking with churches, community organisations, libraries, businesses and other faith groups in the UK.
The campaign is supported by charity alliances such as ChurchWorks, the Community Managed Libraries National Peer Network, Islamic Relief and Kintsugi Hope.
