Bridgwater Chamber Manager, Diogo Rodrigues said, “The Hinkley Point C project has created so many opportunities for local businesses and it was great to hear from some of those present about their successful journey through the supply chain to date.

“This is an enormous project which has seen some £4 billion spent directly with companies based in the south west and the employment opportunities have been huge, with some 22,000 people working on this project across the UK.

“The project has brought some significant economic benefits to the local area and will continue to do so”.

Bridgwater Mercury:

He added: “If you’re a local business that hasn’t made the most of the opportunities from Hinkley Point C, then now is the time to sign up”.
