BRIDGWATER Business Expo recently brought together the region's finest businesses.
The event, hosted by the Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Bridgwater Town Council, proved to be a resounding success, highlighting the thriving local business landscape and paving the way for future growth and development.
The expo was held on June 9 at Bridgwater Town Hall to celebrate the vibrant local business community, offering a platform for businesses to showcase their products and services, learn from industry experts and establish valuable connections.
Under the headline sponsorship of Bridgwater & Taunton College, the leading educational institution in the region, the Bridgwater Business Expo provided an exceptional opportunity for businesses of all sizes to connect, network and enhance brand awareness within the local business community.
The event welcomed over 20 exhibitors and attracted more than 100 visitors, including both established businesses and members of the public interested in exploring the dynamic local business landscape.
Diogo Rodrigues, manager of bridgwater chamber of commerce, expressed his enthusiasm, and said: "We wanted to create a fulfilling and engaging event for businesses of all shapes and sizes, and the Bridgwater Business Expo delivered just that. It was inspiring to see the energy and passion of the local business community."
The expo commenced with a Breakfast Networking event at The Old Vicarage Hotel, featuring a special appearance by Ian Liddell-Grainger, MP for Bridgwater and West Somerset, who addressed the attendees and set the tone for the day's activities.
Following the networking session, participants had the opportunity to explore exhibition spaces of varying sizes, engage in productive discussions, and participate in two panel discussions and four informative seminar sessions.
Panel discussions brought together esteemed industry experts and political figures, including MP Mr Ian Liddell-Grainger MP, Paul Lowndes from This is Gravity, Paul Moore from the Town Deal Board, Ros Wyke from Somerset Council, David Hynd from the Heart of the South West Growth Hub, Nick Porter from Barclays Bank, Tasha Astill from Bridgwater & Taunton College and Paul Smith from Paul Smith Associates.
In addition to the main agenda, the Bridgwater Business Expo also offered exclusive 1-to-1 sessions with industry experts, allowing participants to seek personalised advice and guidance tailored to their specific needs.
