A COMPANY director has been hit with a court bill of almost £800 for an offence he committed in Bridgwater four years ago.
James Tosh, who is listed at Companies House as a director of two companies, pleaded guilty at North Somerset Magistrates' Court to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
The court heard his actions on November 30, 2019, were intended to cause his victim to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them or to provoke the immediate use of violence.
Tosh, 40, of Baldovie Terrace, Dundee, was fined £623 for the offence and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £62 and £85 towards the Crown Prosecution Service costs.
His total court bill of £770 must be paid by the end of November.
Tosh is listed as a director of an electrical installation company and a firm running a retail sale business via mail order houses of the internet.
