WITH less than two weeks to go until Bridgwater's most historic event, preparations are ramping up for Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival 2024.
Organisers have already revealed the list of official car parks for this year's carnival, as well as a guide for first time carnivalites.
It was also recently announced that wheelchair users would be able to pre-book a space in a new trial for an official wheelchair viewing area for the procession.
Now, the list of all the road closures for the event has been revealed.
On Saturday November 4, the following roads will be closed in Bridgwater.

- High Street
- Lamb lane
- Clare Street
From 9am
- Parkway
From 12pm
- Knowle Road
- Trevor Road
From 1pm
- Broadway From Salmon Parade to Eastover
- Monmouth Street from Broadway to Cross Rifles - should re-open by 1:30pm
From 4pm
- Bath Road From Kingsdown to Cross Rifles
- Monmouth Street
- Broadway from Monmouth Street to Taunton Road
- Old Taunton Road (North)
- Taunton Road from Broadway to St Mary Street
- St Mary Street
- Cornhill
- High Street
- Penel Orlieu
- Mount Street
- Northgate
- The Clink
- East Quay
- Wylds Road
- Bristol Road from The Drove to Cross Rifles
