RENEGADES CC have opted for a "Carnival Del Barrio" theme for this year's Bridgwater Carnival, transporting audiences to Washington Heights NYC where Latin American communities come together for a carnival in the streets.

A spokesperson for the club said: "We were really keen to produce an idea that was full of colour and energy and was uplifting for both the performers and the audience.

"We cannot wait to be performing again on the Somerset County Circuit.

"2022 seems like so long ago and yet only yesterday and we are ready to go again! 

"There are so many to thank and so many to appreciate and far too many to name individually but we would really like to send our thanks to all Members, Life Members, Vice Presidents, Associates and Sponsors.

"Whilst there are only a number of people performing to an audience there are many more behind the scenes and we really couldn’t do it without them all.

"We wish everyone taking part in the 2023 carnival circuit the very best of luck for a most enjoyable November!"
