A POPULAR nightclub in Bridgwater will host an early club night for over 50s in the area next week.
Following a successful early club night in 2023, the Palace Nightclub will once again open its doors earlier than usual for the older locals who want to combine the thrill of clubbing with the comfort of an early night.
The over 50s only event will take place on Thursday, February 1 from 6pm until 10pm.
Entry costs £3 per person and includes the cloakroom fee so you can safely store your winter coat ready for when you leave.
Rachael Lilley, local councillor and co-owner of the Palace with her husband Clive, said:" Following on from a massively successful first 'early nightclub' experience in November 2023 we have decided to run a second one on Thursday 1 Feb 2024 from 6pm to 10pm for those aged 50 years and over.
"The feedback from our first one was overwhelming and the coverage has gone viral with one article covering the event generating more than 4 million views.
"We have received messages from all over the world interested in the event.
"The music played will be a mix of 60s, 70s and 80s and Motown, Northern Soul and party classics."
