A UNIQUE event held by the Post Card Traders Association will come to North Petherton, near Bridgwater, at the end of February.

Multi-purpose events space J24 Somerset on Market Way will welcome over 60 traders over 100 tables to the Festival of Cards on Thursday, February 29 from 10am until 6pm, and Friday, March 1 from 9:30am until 4pm.

Attendees to the event will have the opportunity to browse, buy, and sell anything from postcards, cigarette cards, stamps, postal history autographs, trade cards, ephemera, and all related accessories.

For more information or to book your ticket, contact Clive Baker on 01843862707.

A two-day pass costs just £5, and single-day admission for the Friday only costs £2.

Food will be provided, and there is ample car parking space.

A spokesperson for the Post Card Traders Association said: "No hobby quite compares with collecting postcards in the way it caters for all interests.

"Whether you're a football fan, mad about the royal family, keen on local history, a railway buff or a student of ornithology, picture postcards offer you a marvellous stimulus for your hobby.

"And for those merely nostalgic and interested in the events and fashions of the past century, the postcard encapsulates it all."
