A POPULAR village pub near Bridgwater is set to be refurbished, and public opinions are wanted to help out with the plans.

The Greyhound Inn, found on Lime Street in Stogursey, is currently up for rent and the prospective operators will benefit from a planned 'exciting' refurbishment.

According to Star Pubs, who are marketing the inn, once the renovations are complete, the Greyhound will offer a 'full Heineken range drink offering', a new menu featuring pub classics, a 'simple coffee offering', live sports through Sky Sports, and competitive socialising opportunities such as pool and darts.

With an annual rent of £30,856, and estimated minimum ingoing costs of £32,570, the pub offers four letting rooms and an outside training area.

On Wednesday, April 3, the public are invited to the Greyhound Inn from 12:30pm until 4pm to discuss the proposed refurbishment, as well as other pub businesses on offer in the area.
