FIRE crews raced to the scene of a barn and caravan blaze earlier this week.
Fire Control received a call from a member of the public in the West Coker area at around 11.32pm on Monday, April 1.
The on-call watch from Yeovil responded to the call. On arrival, they discovered that a barn and caravan were on fire.
The team requested assistance and crews from Yeovil on-call, Crewkerne, Sherborne and Bridport (Dorset and Wilsthire FRS) were mobilised along with an officer.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson outlined the sequence of events: "At 00:53 - Crew confirmed that this building was used as storage with several seats of fire and a cabin adjacent.
"At 01:18 - Crew have discovered cylinders within the building involved in fire. Crews carried out tests and got to work with cooling these cylinders.
"At 01:38 - Crew were making steady progress with dampening down - 4x breathing apparatus and 3x hose reel jets were in use.
"02:06 - Crew continue to make steady progress, breathing apparatus is now discontinued."
All appliances left the incident at around 3am.
