GREAT Western Railway workers will once again strike this weekend, meaning there will be no trains between Taunton and Weston-super-Mare.
As a result, services from other stations in Somerset, including Bridgwater, Highbridge and Burnham-on-Sea, will also be disrupted on Saturday, April 6.
The Aslef union announced strike action that will affect Great Western Railway, Chiltern Railways and other train operators.
A spokesperson for GWR said: "A reduced, revised timetable will operate across several train operators, including GWR.
"Many parts of the GWR network will have no service at all and trains that are running will only be operating for a limited period during the day.
"In addition, there could be further disruption from Thursday, April 4 to Saturday, April 6 and from Monday, April 8 to Tuesday, April 9, due to industrial action.
"This is likely to cause some short-notice alterations and cancellations, especially at the weekend or late at night."
On Saturday, April 6, the following routes will run on a very limited service between approximately 7am and 7pm:
- Reading and Oxford
- Reading and Basingstoke
- Westbury and Swindon (peak time only)
- Cardiff and Bristol Temple Meads
- Exeter St Davids and Barnstaple
- Plymouth and Gunnislake
- Penzance and St Ives
