A 17-year-old student will host an evening of musical theatre to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Korben Drew has recruited a team of local students and experienced adults, all alongside a production team and Bridgwater representatives for the charity.

The event will take place on June 22 at Puriton Village Hall.

It will get underway from 7.30pm with all money raised donated to Cancer Research UK.

The charity funds scientists, doctors, and nurses, as well as provides public cancer information.

It was founded in 2002 with its history dating back to the early 20th century.
