The medical centre sent messages to its patients through its Facebook page.

After the damage was caused, one of their messages read: “We were the subject of significant vandalism late last night.

“20 windows in the building were smashed, including the large entrance doors.

“We are still open but you will need to use the temporary entrance whilst the remedial works are undertaken.

“Obviously, this will generate a lot of work, disruption and cost.

“Please be patient and understanding whilst we deal with this.”

The centre also said they set up a temporary entrance for its patients, which was still in place yesterday, Wednesday May 22, as the centre reported through its Facebook account, and thanked all those who helped after the incident.

Another message read: “A very difficult day here at East Quay.

“A huge thank you to all the services that have helped. A huge thank you to the amazing team in the medical centre.

“A huge thank you to the teams in Rowlands and MyDentist.”
