A FARMER proposed to his fiancé - by mowing 'marry me' into his field.
Chloe Morley, 27, was left 'shaking' with joy after her fiancée, Tom Heal, 30, proposed to her in a way that was extremely close to home.
Chloe and Tom, who have been together for four years, shared the beautiful memory together at sunset last Friday, May 17.
As Tom had pretended to leave his dinner at home, Chloe walked down to his field, near Hinkley Point to meet him with food.
Chloe, who works as a veterinary nurse, said: "It was just a normal evening of a tractor tea run whilst Tom was silaging.
"Nothing unusual at all to have to take tea out to him as often can’t stop when they’re busy!
"I hadn’t been at work on the Friday and had been for a day out so was really tired and at first was reluctant to rush out there with tea!
"But of course I’m now very glad I did!"
Chloe says she and Tom were so deep in conversation that she even missed the proposal at first.
She explained: "We were just chatting away on our way to the field and I was deep in conversation so at first didn’t even see the field!
"Once I did I was a wreck! I was shaking so much!
"I honestly couldn’t believe it was happening as getting married had been on the cards for a little while but I honestly had no idea."
The newly-engaged couple are hoping to get married in September next year and "have started planning already".
