THE WarAg Festival held near Bridgwater returned this year for yet another successful and compelling day of history.
The festival, first founded in 2016, took place this year on Saturday and Sunday (May 25 and 26).
It aims to celebrate of life on the former airfield at Westonzoyland during its operational era.
Military vehicles and armour were on display at the event, which this year was held at the Middlezoy Aerodrome.
Visitors turned up in numbers to commemorate life in the 1940s, many dressed in war-time attire which added to the historic feel of the day.
A selection of talks along with a marquee exhibition were available to attend, in order to learn more about the history of the airfield which dates back to the 1920s.
Attendants also got to witness a steam and thrashing display, vintage tractors, and a Women's Land Army.
The festival also featured an authentic 1940's tearoom along with vintage aircraft and motor vehicles.
