OVER 400 exhibits were on display at Sedgemoor Vintage Show 2024 this weekend.
Huge crowds were drawn to West Huntspill for the show which was organised by Sedgemoor Vintage Club, and this year took place over the weekend from Saturday, July 13.
In addition to the impressive vintage vehicles on display, attendants enjoyed a range of trade stands, and the popular craft marquee.
Club chairman Bill Bevan said: "We have had a huge response from our exhibitors this year, with some traveling from as far as Nottingham and Cornwall to join the fun.
"We are extremely grateful to all of our sponsors and supporters for their continued efforts, and to Mr Jeff Reasons for the use of his site."
Winner's from this year's Sedgemoor Vintage Show were announced on Sunday afternoon:
- Steam Trophy - Mr Ben Lawford with the 1928 Aveling and Porter road roller.
- Best unrestored tractor - Mr Oliver Emery for the 1930 International Harvester Farmall regular.
- Best restored tractor - R & A Duckett for the 1971 Ford 4000.
- Stationary engine trophy (member) - Mr Colin Nicholson for the 1924 Lister A.
- Stationary engine trophy (non members) - Mr Steven Loader for the 1917 Amanco hired man.
- Stationary engine trophy (junior) - Tyler and Emily for the 1950 Wolesley WD1.
- Classic car trophy - Mr Paul Chamberlain for the 1939 Plymouth business coupé.
- Commercial trophy - Mr Paul Mancini for the 1963 Austin FHK 140.
- Motorcycle trophy - Mr Phil Collins for the 1959 Greeves Hawkstone.
- Horticultural trophy - Mr Daniel Mancini for the Wrigley Motor Track.
- Military Trophy - Mr Stuart Blank for his military display.
- Craft and models award - Mr Jeremy Franks for the keyless violinopan.
- Best in show - Mr Shaun Robbinson for the 1947 standard 12 van.
Plans for next year's show are already in the works, and it's confirmed that it will take place on Saturday, July 12, and Sunday, July 13 2025.
Sedgemoor Vintage Club will next host its vintage sort out on Sunday, December 1 at their headquarters, the 37 Club in Puriton. More details can be found on their website.
