Bridgwater & Albion RFC is championing men's mental health with a new Talk Club.

The male mental health charity is adding to its network of over 80 clubs working to reduce the alarming suicide rate among men under 50.

Three new Talk Clubs are opening up in the area, supporting over 3,000 men in their community, with the new Talk & Listening Group being held at Bridgwater & Albion RFC.

Talk Club's approach revolves around the question, "How are you, out of 10?", encouraging honesty about feelings and proactive strategies for preserving mental health.

Talk Club's community manager Steve Barnard said: "Talk Club is on a mission to help men get mentally fit.

"We do this by providing safe, free, confidential environments for men to be vulnerable and talk about their worries in.

"So, these three venues are perfect.

"And could help hundreds of men and their families with their mental health.

"As a mentally fit man is good for everyone around him."
