HEAD along to a community fun day to raise money for the national charity for road crash victims.

Pethy Market Fun Day, set for Sunday (August 18) from 11am to 4pm, aims to raise funds for the Roadpeace charity.

A spokesperson for the organisation said: "Our vision is for a world where road danger is not tolerated and where road crash victims receive justice and compassion.

"We provide information and support services to people bereaved or seriously injured in road crashes."

The line-up for the fun day includes the Bristol Graffiti Workshop, music from the 'Piano Bike Girl', Chloe Marie Aston, Susie Joan Face and Body Art, and Jesster's Ice Cream van.

Refreshments and shopping stalls at the event include Sam's Fudge, Nixy's Boutique, Believe in Books, Amy's Wax College and Maestro's Pizza.

One stallholder said: "I'm looking forward to the fun day next week, we always have so many lovely and friendly people come out to the market."
