RESIDENTS are invited to attend a public consultation event regarding the future of a popular park in Bridgwater.
The town council has 'identified funding' to upgrade the facilities at Mansfield Park, with plans to add more play equipment, and a unique multi use games area (MUGA).
The consultation event will be held at the park from 2pm until 4pm on Wednesday, August 21.
Play equipment suppliers will also be in attendance with samples and information about potential equipment.
An online survey can be completed for those who cannot make the event.
A spokesperson for Bridgwater Town council said: “We believe that the best way to create a space that everyone can enjoy is by involving the community in the planning.”
“We are excited to hear the ideas and suggestions from local residents on how to make the most of this space.”
For those who can’t make it to the consultation event, there is the option to complete the online survey, which can also be accessed via posters at the site with QR codes on.
