YOUNGSTERS in Bridgwater have started their school journeys by joining their reception classes.
Parents and guardians have dropped their children at the school gates for the first time, letting them meet their new teachers and classmates.
To celebrate this milestone, the Bridgwater Mercury has put together a supplement with pictures from the town's reception classes.
Here are photos from the Ash Class (Reception class) at Puriton Primary School, and Ashcott Primary School.
