PART of the A361 has been forced to close today after the police confirmed that a bus near Bridgwater has overturned and crashed.
A "small number of people" were injured in the crash, with a stretch of the A361, where the incident happened, set to be closed for the foreseeable future.
The incident took place between Greylake and Greinton around 10am.
Emergency services are still be at the scene with no major injuries reported. Police are assisting the bus passengers to safety.
In a statement, a representative from the Avon and Somerset police said: "The A361 is closed between Greylake and Greinton after a bus overturned at around 10am today.
"A small number of people were onboard the bus.
"No one is thought to have sustained a serious injury.
"Recovery work will be carried out in due course with emergency services at the scene."
