A NIGHT Market will accompany Bridgwater’s ‘Fallen Moon’ installation this week on Thursday, October 17.
The event will coincide with a special launch night, run by Bridgwater Town Council. It will also see a natural full moon - known as the ‘Hunter’s Moon’. This lunar event is up to 15% brighter and 30% bigger than regular full moons.
Around 15 stalls will be at the Night Market from across the county, including Dough Bros, SB Cookie Pie Bakes, Real Somerset Silver, Wahoo Clothing, and many more. The event will run from 5pm to 9pm.
Luke Jerram’s popular ‘Fallen Moon’ art installation is at Bridgwater Docks until November 2. The installation will be illuminated on the water each evening from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
Michelle Beck, organiser of the Night Market at Bridgwater, said: “This Thursday 17 October, experience the perfect blend of shopping, food, and entertainment under the stars – right alongside the Fallen Moon installation at Bridgwater Docks.”
“Explore a small selection of stalls and enjoy delicious street food as the moonlight sets the scene for a one-of-a-kind night. It’s the perfect evening to support your local businesses, grab a bite to eat, and immerse yourself in the beauty of Luke Jerram’s stunning lunar art.”
