Muddy Stilettos travel guide highlighted the various retail opportunities on offer, as well as the many food and drink options available to visitors and residents.

The location is home to a vast array of castles, battlegrounds, museums, and historical sites, including the famous Scone Palace.

Discussing the iconic site near Perth, the guide said this "historic crowning site of Scotland's kings" is surrounded by "stunning gardens" and even the occasional Highland Coo.

Perth's shopping scene was described as "eclectic" with "usual high-street suspects" standing alongside a number of independent retailers.

These include Tayberry Gallery, which is the area's "go-to for artsy finds," and Boo Vake, a "colourful gallery and shop" selling jewellery and accessories.
