A GROUP of pupils from year six at Cossington Primary School visited Bridgwater College for a morning of activities.

The aim of the visit was to get the pupils thinking about their future aspirations and how working hard at school can help them to achieve these.

During the visit the students received a tour of the facilities and were able to speak to lots of staff and students.

The pupils were encouraged to listen carefully to all the information they were given throughout the tour as there was a quiz with a chance to win prizes at the end of the session.

Holly Mees, schools liaison officer, said: “The children’s behaviour was a credit to the school, they were full of sensible questions and a joy to work with.

“A lot of the children had a keen interest in the land-based sector and we hope to arrange a return visit to the Cannington Centre in the near future.”
