SEDGEMOOR District Council has named high quality job opportunities, transport improvements and new leisure facilities among its requirements if the proposed Bridgwater Gateway development between Bridgwater and North Petherton goes ahead.
The council is working on its design principles for the site, which is south of Bridgwater, next to the A38 and junction 24 of the M5 motorway.
If approved on March 30, the design principles will be used as guidance when any planning application for the site is submitted.
