THE Coalition Government’s climb-down on plans to sell off England’s Forestry Commission land has been welcomed by Bridgwater’s Conservative MP Ian Liddell-Grainger.
He told the Mercury: “I’m delighted that we backtracked; commonsense has prevailed.
"Given the amount of Forestry Commission land we have on the Quantocks and other parts of the constituency this is a sensible decision.”
