A 40-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after the motorbike he was riding was in collision with a car in West Street in Bridgwater.
Ambulance crews, police and firefighters were called to the scene shortly before 11am yesterday.
The road was closed until about 12.30pm.
Police said the vehicles involved were a Rover 45 and a Harley Davidson motorbike.
No arrests were made in connection with the incident.
