LOCAL businesses have rallied to help protect children by signing up to the NSPCC's Somerset 1600 Club.
Companies and clubs have pledged to raise £1,600 - the cost of recruiting and training a ChildLine volunteer counsellor - for the charity's South-West Child's Voice Appeal. Call 01823-674495 or e-mail dstatham@nspcc.org.uk to find out more.
