Fire in car with gas cylinder in boot
A NISSAN Micra with a one-litre LPG cylinder in the boot was on fire in a lay-by on the A38 in North Petherton at around 5pm last night.
Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out the blaze, which was confined to the engine, and the gas cylinder remained in tact. The cause is believed to have been accidental.
