Two injured in M5 smash near Bridgwater
THE M5 is running smoothly again after two people were treated for minor injuries following a crash near Bridgwater earlier.
Police were called to the scene, just past junction 24 for Bridgwater South, at 1.46pm.
Paramedics treated a woman who was driving a BMW and a man who was driving a Volvo.
Their injuries were not described as life threatening.
Lane three of the motorway was briefly closed but is re-opened a short time later.
